Museums & culture in Venedig

For a city of its size Venice has an unusually dense museum landscape: the Doge's Palace, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Teatro La Fenice and the glass museum on Murano. Almost all of them sell online tickets through several portals – which means different final prices for the same admission.

One planning note: several Venice museums offer free or reduced entry on certain weekdays or for visitors under 18. In those cases an online ticket mainly makes sense to skip the queue or secure a fixed time slot.
